We hired JPM Construction to open up a wall from our kitchen into our living room. For years it was a goal of ours to complete. When we finally decided to do the job, we brought in 5 different contractors to quote us for the project. Like any good job interview, in the quote process, you get a feel for the individual that is going to do the work. Jeff, who is the owner and proprietor of JPM Construction, showed up with his tape measure, a dry wall saw, and his mini vacuum. He was the most thorough of all 5 contractors in his measurements.  Knowing that it was a load bearing wall, he took the time to cut a small hole in the ceiling to see which direction the joists were running. This is where we come back to the mini vacuum. HE SWEPT UP AFTER HIMSELF... Generally speaking, contractors are in and out, without taking as much time to say hello (as we saw in the quote process).  This is where Jeff set himself apart. He really took his time to understand what we wanted and how to best execute the plan so he could provide a quote and labor plan that would be as accurate as possible. The quote that he provided to us was fair for the work involved. He also gave a reasonable expectation for the start date and timeline to complete the project.  When it came to the execution of the work, Jeff’s good hair, professionalism, communication, workmanship, and attention to detail were exemplary. From the demo to the finishing work, he exceeded our expectations in every way.  Because of the quality and value of the work Jeff provided, JPM Construction will have many projects at our home for years to come!
